"Blasting Music"...was improvised while the live studio audience sloped off to WARNING Had just moved into a flat on a busy road near town with loads of ambulances and fire engines going by and friends had come to visit. Two of us stayed in to try out weird beats, armed only with a vague idea of doing for space invaders what Trent Raznor did for Quake. Each of us thought we heard a sound like a whining or pulsing sound in time with the music and said "Is that you?" "No, isn't that you?" "No I'm not doing that" Then when Warning finished and everyone returned, on their way they passed a house four doors down with loads of people standing around outside and an emergency vehicle parked up. Then on their way back the same building had collapsed (noone hurt). Loads of ambulance and fire trucks were there. Among other things they saved us, our take (and everyone nearby) from getting singed, and unplayable. So after nearly a decade this has been lovingly restored enhanced sped digested used to floss between the ears sanded and 'put out' on a CD for your blasting pleasures. Thanks to all our friends and early supporters. |
